What is Grow:

Great relief for orphans and widows is a mountain of prayer and miracle church (a.k.a Charismatic assembly )Program.It is a christain not for profit and non political ,non governmental program.It is designed to "learn do well,seek judgement,relief for the opressed,judge the fatherless,plead for the widows"( Isaiah chapter 1:17. KJV) of all religions.

The program seeks to protect the helpless of the society(Orphans and Widows) by providing them with basic education and training skills for self reliance.GROW hopes to expand the Gospel of our lord Jesus christ by reducing poverty and building the capacity of the less priviledged in order to give them the opportunity to partake effectively in the development process of both their communities and the church.

VISION.

We strive to become a dependable source of poverty reduction among the orphans and widows in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

MISSION.

To contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of Orphans and Widows through the establishment of a training center and an orphanage home for efficient skill development and the provission of basic education to the most vulnerable of the society ( the Orphans and Widows ) with the view of putting in place the safety net to protect them.

OBJECTIVES.

GROW 'S Programme are designed to:

.Provide a home for the homeless.

.Offer basic education to the orphans .

.Assist the Widows to aquire training skills that will make them self sufficient.

.Organise already trained Orphans and Widows into co-operative groups in order to provide self help to themselves through thrift savings and micro credit facilities .

.Obtain support from the public ,non profit groups,the media ,Government and industry in futhering these objectives.

ACTIVITIES .

GROW facilitates the following for the achievement of its program objectives:

.Orphanage schools.

.Training center.

.Research and publications.

.study tours.

.Proffessional exchange programs.

.workshops.

.seminars.

ORPHANAGE.

The orphanage 'miracle children's home'will be situated in a conducive environment where land is made available with mandate of being a fortress for the motherless babies and children in Lagos and the south western region of Nigeria.It will be made up of schooling facilities . A safe accommodation and it serves the following purposes :

.Serves as a home to abandoned babies .

.Seeks to encourage Nigerians to addopt these orphans.

.Provides basic neccessary educational Facilities.

.seeks scholarship for the furthering of the inmates education.

.Develope a strong moral foundation based on the principles of Christianity.

GROW: Is in partnership and colaborating with an international organisation "HOPE AND CARE INTERNATIONAL"www.hopeandcare.net .

The project hopes to establish childrens villages to take care of an estimated 1.4 million orphans in Nigeria.

GROW is working in partnership with Hope and care international to commence the building of a children's village in any part of the country where the land is made available.

TRAINING CENTER.

The training center will be situated at a very habitable and conducive environment, it will offer efficient training facilities to Widows and to orphans who are unable to further their education.The training center is of a wide spectrum, thus it gives participants the opportunity to choose courses of their interest.

The training center serves the following purposes :

.Serves as an incubator for the young enterpreneurs.

.Encouraging self help by organising graduates of the center into co-opertaive groupings for thrift savings and loans.

.Facilitates industrial attachments for students .

.seeks to institutionalize the training of others with same backgrounds free by the graduands of the center.

.Providing training spaces for the orphans and widows community.
